Mark 6:32-34

32 And they went away in the boat to a deserted place by themselves. 33 Now many saw them going and recognized them, and they hurried there on foot from all the towns and arrived ahead of them. 34 As he went ashore, he saw a great crowd; and he had compassion for them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things.

  1. I know that without a guide, a mentor, I can often stray away from my plan or my goals. I look to Gods words in scripture and daily readings to help direct me back onto the right path.

  2. The pandemic has made me aware of the sacrifices that others make to get food to us. I am especially aware of the farm workers who endure low wages and terrible working conditions every day. Also the grocery store employees, the truck drivers, etc. who seem so invisible to most of us. Our system is so harmful to those people who have no choices if they are to take care of their families.
