30 The apostles gathered around Jesus, and told him all that they had done and taught. 31 He said to them, “Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat.

I know that without a guide, a mentor, I can often stray away from my plan or my goals. I look to Gods words in scripture and daily readings to help direct me back onto the right path.
The pandemic has made me aware of the sacrifices that others make to get food to us. I am especially aware of the farm workers who endure low wages and terrible working conditions every day. Also the grocery store employees, the truck drivers, etc. who seem so invisible to most of us. Our system is so harmful to those people who have no choices if they are to take care of their families.
