Please make checks payable to SPUMC and note in your memo the designation of your donation.
Donations do not always have to be in cash. If you wish to make a charitable gift to SPUMC, consider giving appreciated stock/mutual fund/bond assets. You may qualify for a tax break while the church enjoys the benefit of your donation. Please consult your tax advisor to ensure this is the best gifting option for your situation. If you find you are interested in making a donation of this type, please contact our Business Manager, Cheryl Scott, for information on the transfer process.
St. Paul’s Legacy Fund giving program is available for endowed giving through Bequests, IRA, Annuities, Real Estate, Trust, etc. Currently we have four areas you can designate your gifts towards: General Ministry, Mission, Music, and Maintenance/Capital Improvements. These gifts are placed into an endowment with the earnings invested into programming in the above areas. If you are interested, please contact St. Paul’s Business Manager, Cheryl Scott, at 913.268.9551 for further details.
Some designated gifts may need prior approval from St. Paul’s Finance Committee and therefore we do reserve the right to decline designations that are not in keeping with our strategic plan and goals. Once the transaction is complete, your donation does become the property of SPUMC.
A gift to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church shows your confidence that we will continue to fulfill our mission to LOVE God and all others unconditionally, SEEK answers to our questions, and SERVE God by serving others.
