Rev. David Livingston

This Sunday at 11:00 we will celebrate with nine of our students as they confirm their faith in our service of Confirmation. This day is always a joy. It is not the end of their faith journey, but it is a milestone along the journey.

I invite you to consider if their confirmation might also be a marker in your journey. You may remember your own confirmation or your own baptism. You may remember coming to St. Paul’s for the first time or returning after some time away. You may remember a person who impacted your faith in a deep way. Then, remembering that part of your own story, you might make a recommitment this Sunday to taking the next step in your faith journey. I hope you will join us for this special Sunday.

A related “programming note”: Confirmation is an important community event that happens during worship so I hope you will attend at 11:00. Also, so that we can maintain schedules, the sermon at 11:00 will be shortened. Some of you will be glad for that! If you’d rather hear the entire sermon you might consider coming to two worship services this Sunday.
