Event Details:

December 1, 4:30pm: Stay Awhile Launch: Rev. Kara Eidson, author of Stay Awhile, will join us for a special presentation as we begin our Advent journey. We’ll hear more of her thoughts on the season and her book as we share a soup dinner. All people and all ages are welcome to join from 4:30-6:00!

December 6, 5-7pm: Sar-Ko-Aglow: We will be hosting a table at Sar-Ko-Aglow, and we hope to see you there! Celebrate the holiday season with Lenexa’s annual holiday lights display, and visit with your St. Paul’s family!

December 8, 4pm: Cookie Decorating: Join us for all-ages cookie decorating at the Tefft house. Email jessica@stpaulslenexa.org for more details, and sign up here!

December 9, 5:30pm: Beer and Hymns: Bring a friend and stop in for sips and songs of the season at Barley’s Brewhouse! All ages are welcome. Come and grab dinner at Barley’s Brew and Tap on Midland near 435 at 5:30; Christmas carols start at 6:00. Remember, “the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!” Get directions to Barley’s here!

December 15: Special Choir Performances & Nativity Display: The Children’s Choir will perform at the 9am and 11am worship services. There will also be a special Chancel Choir performance from Magnificat at 11am! At 10am, the Seek Team will host a nativity display featuring nativities from around the world. If you’d like to bring your own nativity to display, please email eric@stpaulslenexa.org for more details!

December 16, 5:30-7:30: Blue Christmas: Join us for a time of healing this Christmas season.

December 24, 4pm, 7pm, 11pm: Christmas Eve Services: A weary world rejoices. Come and worship with us this Christmas Eve at St. Paul’s. Each of our services includes candlelight, carols, communion, and a celebration of the heart of Christmas. Our 4pm service is contemporary worship, and our 7pm and 11pm services are more traditional. Join us in remembering the familiar story, and rejoicing in the story of one small child who changes everything. 

December 29, 10am: Combined Worship and Brunch: Join us for a special 5th Sunday combined service at 10am, followed by a brunch hosted by the Love Team. Let’s rejoice and reflect on the holiday season!

January 12, 10am: Star Words: Each year at St. Paul’s, we celebrate the beginning of the year by receiving Star Words. It’s a way of setting intentions for the year ahead, and a beloved tradition for us. You are invited to come join us for one combined service this year on January 12 and receive your star word! And, you are invited to stick around after service for lunch and a celebration of vision and intentions for 2025! Details still to come!
