☆ Ben Gulley Benefit Concert ☆
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16, 6:00PM
Cathy and Terry Matlack’s Barn & Grounds
Enjoy a beautiful evening of music, friendship, and fresh air! (And if the weather’s not so beautiful, we’ll move to the church.) The concert is free; offerings to St. Paul’s Marti Johnson Music Fund will be accepted.
Operatic tenor Ben Gulley has been featured at theaters and opera companies around the globe. Don’t miss this special performance benefitting all of St. Paul’s music programs!
Be sure to bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs.
FOOD & BEVERAGES
You’re welcome to bring a picnic supper, but we’re excited to announce that the Taco Republic Food Truck will be at this event from 5:30-7:30pm selling 4 kinds of tacos (including a veggie option), chips and salsa, soft drinks and Mexican juices. Yum! A variety of desserts plus napkins, drinking water and cups will be provided at no charge by St. Paul’s volunteers.
Enter the driveway just west of 22009 West 71st Terrace in Shawnee and park in the pasture. There will be a sign and parking attendant at the driveway.
St. Paul’s Marti Johnson Music Fund
The Music Fund was established in 2012 in honor of Marti Johnson’s many years of music ministry at St. Paul’s. The purpose of the fund is to enhance St. Paul’s music ministry through purchasing new instruments, bringing in guest musicians, and other special needs that may arise. In addition, each year as funds are available, St. Paul’s provides a grant to a student seeking a college degree related to music. Donations to the fund are always welcome, but the primary avenue for funding is through our annual benefit concert.
