I received an email this morning from a teacher asking for prayers because a full week of indoor recess is very trying. I remember indoor recess – and I believe this teacher! So I prayed for her and other teachers. In doing so, I was reminded of the difficult calling that so many of you have.
Calling is not just something that happens to pastors. All of us have a God-given purpose. Following that call is not always easy. Today I am grateful for each of you, and particularly for the ways that each of you work diligently to do the work that God calls you to do, professionally and/or personally.
