Have you ever wondered why we adopted the custom of putting a tree in our living room at Christmas and decorating it with lights and ornaments? Or why we hang stockings? Then join your St. Paul’s family for ADVENT(ure) NIGHT Friday, December 4, 5:30-8pm!

The evening will begin with a soup supper followed by activities, games, and crafts that explore some familiar traditions and their meanings and backgrounds. You will have an opportunity to capture the fun in a photo booth and the chance to write a Christmas card to a service man or woman who will be far from home and their familiar traditions this Christmas.

Bring a canned good to contribute to our food collection that goes to area food pantries.

Nursery available all evening, as needed. Join us for this ADVENT(ure) into the traditions and customs of Christmas!

Christmas Card Donations

Do you have a few unused Christmas cards (and their envelopes) in a box from last year’s cards? It seems there are always a few left over when we get to the end of our list. We’d like to use them for our Christmas card writing project during ADVENT(ure) NIGHT on Friday, December 4. We want to send Christmas greetings to service men and women who will be away from family and familiar traditions this year. Please bring cards and envelopes to church and leave them in the bin on the shelf across from the church office. Thanks!
