Passing It On: How to Nurture Your Children’s Faith Season by Season

A practical guide to help parents, grandparents, and other adults who love children, nurture their spiritual growth during Advent by sharing conversation starters, age-appropriate activities and a suggested daily prayer and practice.
Not A Silent Night: Mary Looks Back to Bethlehem
Wednesdays, 1:00 pm
Beginning with the resurrection and working backwards in time toward his birth, Mary reflects on the life of Jesus, her son.
Because of Bethlehem: Love is Born; Hope is Here!
Thursdays, 6:30 pm
An exploration of some basic Christmas questions: What’s the big deal about the baby in the manger? Who was he? What does his birth have to do with me?

Each service has its own musical flavor, but all will include Communion, candle lighting, and celebrating the coming of the Prince of Peace. Childcare will be available at the 5 & 7pm services.

Christmas Eve Offering
This year’s offering will be designated for Servant Sunday, February 10, 2019, here at St. Paul’s. The offering will help fund projects we’ll do that day and, for some organizations, offer a financial contribution. Organizations include Rise Against Hunger, Community Blood Center, Giving Brick, and KC Pet Project, among others. Contribute online any time by selecting the Christmas Offering category.
